Benoît Sellam founded FCDE in 2009. Notable investments he has led include those in Gestal, Robbez-Masson, Canal Toys, NES (sold in 2018 to SERMA), SERMA, ASI, De Fursac (sold to SMCP), Editor and ADS (sold to Rakuten).
Benoît was previously Corporate Secretary of the CIRI, the Interministerial Committee on Industrial Restructuring, which during the crisis of 2008 successfully rescued and restructured some thirty industrial groups in various sectors (aeronautics, agri-food, automotive, capital goods and transport).
He was also head of the office for the financing and development of enterprises in the Treasury department. Prior to that, Benoît was a controlling director with the Prudential Control Authority and with the AMF (French SEC).
Benoît is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and a Corps des Mines engineer, as well as holding a diploma from ENSAE and being a qualified actuary.

Julien Di Marco joined FCDE when the Firm was first established at the beginning of 2010, as an Investment Associate. He was promoted to Investment Manager end of 2010, Investment Director at the beginning of 2011 and to Partner in July 2015. Notable investments in which Julien has been involved include those in Gestal, UTAC I (sold in September 2020) and UTAC II, Weyou, Babcock Wanson, Tarsus France (sold in September 2017), ASI, Editor, Girard Agediss (sold to the Otto Group) and SPS (sold to the Imprimerie Nationale).
He previously worked as an Investment Manager with mid-market LBO fund Activa Capital, which he joined in 2007, Julien was involved in the acquisition, follow-up or sale of Françoise Saget Linvosges, BFI Optilas and Sport 2000.

Réjean Guern joined FCDE at its inception in 2009 as Investment Associate. He was promoted to Investment Director at the beginning of 2015 and to Partner in March 2018. He previously worked as a Consultant with the Paris office of L.E.K. during four years. Réjean was involved in strategic due diligences (both buyer and vendor) in particular working for Private Equity funds, and development and growth assignments for major corporates.
Previously, he was an analyst with the Paris office of Advent International (a large-cap LBO private equity fund).

Brice Carlot joins FCDE in 2020 as a Partner. Brice brings 15 years of experience in private equity and situation driven investments. He was previously a partner at LFPI for nine years and, prior to that, spent six years at Macquarie Capital as a senior vice president in private equity and special situations.
Brice gathered a solid experience in complex situations and private equity investments, focusing on atypical situations, with strong transactional and operational thesis. He successfully invested in and contributed to reorganise, reposition and grow a number of companies, in close collaboration with management teams.
Prior to that, Brice spent four years at ABN Amro and CDC Ixis in financial engineering and principal investments. Brice started his career at PE firm Paribas Affaires Industrielles.

Charlotte Lepetit joined FCDE in October 2013 as Corporate Secretary. She is promoted to Partner in March 2018. Previously Charlotte acted as Senior Manager with KPMG Audit in the investment services department where she worked for ten years. There, Charlotte was involved in audit and advisory services with numerous players in the asset management and private equity sectors.
Charlotte has a broad experience in the setup and/or structuring of both compliance and financial and administrative management functions.
She holds a degree from Paris-Dauphine University.

Anne-Laure Dupont joined FCDE in August 2014 as an Investment Associate. She was promoted to Investment Manager in March 2017 and Investment Director in May 2019. In 2020, Anne-Laure is appointed Principal and becomes a shareholder of CDG. Thibaut David joined FCDE in January 2018 as an Investment Associate and was promoted to Investment Manager in April 2021. Thibaut participated in the investments in Récréa, Gestal, UTAC I (sold in September 2020) and UTAC II.
For more than two years, Thibaut held the position of M&A analyst with Mediobanca. In particular he worked on the sale of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations’ stake in the Sanef Group and took part in several transactions in the healthcare, telecommunications and services sectors.
Prior to that, Thibaut had gained experience in M&A with Messier Maris & Associés and in the Finance Division of TBWA Worldwide in New York.

In the course of his assignments he had the opportunity of being involved in a variety of sectors such as luxury goods, manufacturing, real estate and services.
Alexandre has also gained experience in financial analysis with JC Decaux in Dubai as well as in private equity with Butler Industries, and set up a start-up company fuel delivery business.
